## RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Morningstar Made LLC. We take immense pride in our unique curation of handmade creations and carefully sourced goods.
Because our inventory consists of both custom handmade items and items fulfilled via third-party logistics (drop-shipped), different return rules apply depending on the item purchased. Please read our guidelines below carefully before requesting a return.

## SECTION 1 - GENERAL RETURN WINDOW
We offer a 30-day return policy. You have exactly 30 calendar days from the date your tracking number marks the package as "Delivered" to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
* Unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
* In its original, unopened packaging (including all tags, instructions, and inserts).
* Accompanied by a receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase.

## SECTION 2 - HANDMADE GOODS POLICY
Certain products on our storefront are individually handmade.
* Natural Variations: By purchasing a handmade item, you acknowledge and agree that unique variances in color, texture, minor dimensions, and finish are natural characteristics of the artisanal process. These distinct variations are not considered manufacturing defects or damages.
* Custom / Personalized Orders: Any items that are custom-made, personalized, or altered specifically to your request are strictly final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive physically broken or damaged during transit.

## SECTION 3 - DROP-SHIPPED GOODS POLICY
For items fulfilled and shipped directly by our third-party manufacturing partners, returns are strictly managed to prevent fraud and supply chain errors:
* No Address Substitutions: Do not mail your return back to the manufacturer's address printed on the shipping label. Packages sent directly back to fulfillment warehouses without our authorization will be lost, and no refund will be issued.
* Buyer’s Remorse: We do not offer free return shipping or automatic refunds for "buyer's remorse" (e.g., changing your mind, ordering the wrong color, or selecting the wrong size). For these returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, and a 15% restocking fee may be deducted from your final refund.

## SECTION 4 - DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR WRONG ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or if you received the incorrect item, we will resolve the issue immediately at no extra cost to you.
To file a claim for a damaged or defective item, you must email our support team within 5 business days of delivery with the following information:
1. Your original Order Number.
2. Clear, high-resolution photographs of the damaged product.
3. Clear photographs of the exterior shipping box/mailer, showing the shipping label clearly.
Once we verify the damage with our suppliers or courier, we will issue a replacement or a full refund, including original shipping costs.

## SECTION 5 - EXCLUSIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following types of items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
* Gift cards.
* Downloadable software or digital products.
* Items marked as "Final Sale," "Clearance," or "Closeout."
* Personal care items, cosmetics, or intimate goods (for hygiene reasons).

## SECTION 6 - HOW TO START A RETURN
To initiate a return process, please follow these steps:
1. Email our customer care team at [YOUR STORE CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMAIL].
2. State your Order Number and the exact item(s) you wish to return.
3. If approved, our team will reply with a mandatory Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct physical mailing address for our intake office.
4. Pack the item securely and mail it back using a trackable shipping service. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not liable for return shipments lost by the carrier.

## SECTION 7 - REFUNDS PROCESSING
Once your return is received at our authorized location and inspected by our team, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (credit card, PayPal, Shopify Balance, etc.) within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing times.
